A Strange Encounter
Timah strained her ears . Sure there was a noise in the kitchen . Who could it be at this time of the night ? Slowly , she crept down the staircase . Pong ... Pong ... The sound of metal dropping from a high place could be heard clearly from the top of the staircase . The sound of cloth slowly being torned could also be heard . Timah's heart was pounding non-stop . Then , images of what could be downstairs appeared in her mind .
Timah was starting to worry . her parents are on a business trip to China . Her sister was in NS training . So , Timah was all alone at home . She immediately took her baseball bat and braved herself to go down the staircase . In the silence of the night , she could only hear the sound of her own breath . The peeked through the gap in between the handle of the staircase . To her fear , a moving object was going through in the stuff in the drawers of the kitchen .
Knowing that something wasn't right , Timah quickly took out her handphone . She tried to call her parents but there was no reception . She ran to her room and tried to wake her neighbour up by throwing stones at her neighbour's window . Timah told her what happened and asked her to phone the police . Without wasting time , she phoned the police and informed them that there was an intruder in Timah's house .
At this moment , Timah knew that help iwas on the way . She began to think of ways to keep the thing busy . Suddenly , the thing fainted . The hat that the thing was wearing fell to the ground . Ahead of long black hair could be seen . Timah dashed down the staircase and went directly to the lying object . She found out the thing causing all the noise was a little girl . She touched the girl's forehead and it was icy cold . Then , Timah began to think " How can this be ? Icy cold forehead ? I thought living things have body temperature . Weird . "
Timah went to get a piece of wet cloth and soaked it in some warm water . She placed it on the girl's forehead . Then , she put her finger under the girl's nose . She couldn't feel her breathing . " How can this be ? A dead girl in my kitchen ? Oh my god ! " Timah said to herself . She knew if her mother found out about his , she will be in big trouble . The girl's hand was shaking . She started opening her eyes . Timah was shocked to find out that she has glowing blue pupils !
She immediately jumped back a few steps . The girl said " I won't hurt you . All i need is your help . Give me your hand . " Timah was shocked . The girl just regained her life . She slowly reached out her hand towards the girl . Suddenly she had images of what happened during a robbery in a jewellery shop in a shopping complex went through her mind . The girl just gave her some power to see what happened . The girl also told her where the missing jewellery was . Timah freaked out . She came closer to the girl and wanted to have a look at the girl's face . However , the girl just tried to hide her face with her cape .
Many innocent lives were killed during the robbery and the little girl was one of them . Timah felt sorry for the girl . Recently she read about a news in the newspaper saying that a married couple lost their daughter's life when a robbery took place in a shopping complex . She also read that the girl's parents have decided to put their feelings aside and move on . The girl asked Timah about her parent's health . Timah replied " They are just fine and they really miss you . " The girl smiled and thanked Timah for the great news .
The sounds of sirens of patrol cars were getting louder and louder . Suddenly , someone used a speaker and said that they have surrounded the house . The police counted one to three before entering the house . The girl know that her message that she wanted to give was done . She thanked Timah for listening . She said " It's time for me to leave and to go to the light . The portal is going to close in a few seconds . Wssh you all the best and take care . "
" Who are you ? Tell me ." asked Timah . The girl replied " The girl that was killed during the robbery - Alyssa ." " Goodbye . " said Timah . Then , the girl vanished into the thin air . At this moment , the police was already in the kitchen . Timah told them that the girl just vanished . The police laughed and told the others that this was just a false alarm . They advised Timah to get a good night's rest . Timah told them where the missing jewellery was . They asked her " where did you get the news from ? " " A very good friend . " answered Timah . She sent them out the door and tidied the kitchen . After that , she went to bed .
Timah still can't sleep as she still cannot forget the incident . Then , she got a phone call . " Grandmother is alive ! She is no longer unconscious . " said her cousin , Peter . " Really ? But that's a miracle . " answered Timah . " It's like God gave her a second chance . " said Peter . Beep ... Beep ... With that , their conversation ended .
Timah couldn't believe her ears . It must be Alyssa that helped her . From that day onwards , Timah knew that not all spirits are bad .
The world will be invaded by aliens in a few days time . Don't pay attention to me and i will invite them to Earth now .
